eZ publish 3 supports the creation of relations between all kinds of content types and content objects. The objectrelationbrowse datatype for eZ publish version 3.5 provides a user friendly interface that simplifies the process of establishing such links.

The datatype uses 'Ajax' technology to display all available objects in a single, dynamically filterable list. Ajax is shorthand for Asynchronous JavaScript + XML.

With this datatype it becomes possible to:

1. display all available objects in a single, dynamically filterable list;
2. allow the selection of multiple objects from a list in a single action;
3. create one-to-one or one-to-many object relations; and
4. store the object relation between objects so a reverse object relation becomes available.
